15/5/09 - Passport to Liverpool
As part of Adult Learners' Week, we held a special screening of the film "Passport to Liverpool". The event was sponsored by the Workers' Educational Association and included a Q&A session with Dave Cotterill. (Click for More)

Neighbourhood Watch schemes are being set up in the area with the help of Merseyside Police.  Currently, there are schemes running around SARA Hall and also down Mersey Road.  For details of how to join or set one up, please contact SARA for details.

In March 2008, SARA launched a new grant making arm of the association.  The Youth Recognition awards offer grants of up to £200 for specific projects / activities for individuals and groups under the age of 18.  Applications are now being accepted.  For further details click below.  Closing Date for the next round is 30th September 2009.
