Since 2004-05, SARA has supported a variety of charities (both local and national) as well as providing grants for youth projects in the Sudley Area. 2008 saw the introduction of the SARA Youth Recognition Awards, giving grants of up to £200 to a variety of youth related schemes. For 2019-20, SARA's charity of the year was Sunflowers, a Liverpool charity that supports people living with cancer.
